Which sensor will replace the adafruit SI1145 Digital UV Index

Hello,
I noticed the Adafruit UV sensor is no longer available for purchase. Which sensor will replace the UV sensor?

Hi Leah,

That is a great question. We have not officially chosen a successor to the SI1145, but we do have code written to support the Ambient Light Sensor (0-200klx) for Arduino - DFRobot

Fair warning, its performance is still undergoing evaluation. I’ll include the .stl file in the light sensor folder on Github if you want to try it out.

Do you have the Python code for the DFRobot light sensor? Will this eventually be compatible with the Raspberry Pi?

Hi Leah,

It is supported on the particle boron and argon, but not yet on our pi and feather data loggers. We are awaiting the evaluation of the sensor to determine if we should add it to all other loggers.
