Magnet location & assembly for rain gauge? Magnet specs?

I’m trying to find a source for the magnet(s) for the rain gauge and its location in the rain gauge. Aside from the “1/8 inch by 1/16 inch, diametrically aligned” note here I cannot find instructions for magnet’s placement or a source for the magnet. Can you help?

thanks. Just getting through to DigiKey proved to be a greater problem than I anticipated. They kept sending me around to different subjects! I guess that means that if you’re even living in Minnesota (and Digi is in Thief River Falls) you don’t get a favorable response. They must be getting really big.
