Introduction and question re: missing funnel rim

I’m using a Bambu Labs H2D. I’ve reviewed all the preset choices for the H2D for ASA filament. If anyone would like the two Bambu files, please ask. I’d be happy to share them with you to save you the hours spent to set up the H2D for printing with ASA.

I’m an amateur meteorologist with more education than I need and a consuming interest in sports car racing on road racing tracks. I’ve built a system that deploys instruments in corners, transmits the data using a Zigbee network, and displays the data on a Web site. In the past I build my own systems but the 3D PAWS system is much easier and has lots of options for data reading and set up. The 3d printing takes some time but once the printer is configured the process of building and deploying is straightforward. That is, unless the network must be operated across a venue with multiple radio bands.

I live in Minnesota so many of the SCCA tracks involve long distance travel and a van with the required equipment. On the other hand it allows me to meet with interesting people and share their company

Forgot to add the main topic: I haven’t found a .3mf file for the rim that fits onto the rain gauge funnel. Is it hiding in the .stl format files or is it available at some other location?

Hi Michael,

The rim is an open scad file (.scad) where you generate the .stl file once the calibration process for the rain gauge has been completed.
