Hi there, my name is Andre Brathwaite. I’m a meteorologist at the Barbados Meteorological Services. I was trained to produce 3D Printed Automatic Weather Stations in 2019 and been enjoying the entire experience ever since!

Hello, everyone. This is Fahim Zaheer. I am a regional scientist for the Climate Hazards Center (CHC) in Central Asia and Afghanistan. Starting January 2023, I joined CHC/UCSB as a Regional Scientist to support the great project of β€œThe Enhancing Meteorological Networks Partnership (EMNP).” I have been contributing to the FEWS NET food security analysis in Afghanistan and Central Asia, covering the Agro-climate-related portion of the analysis.

The UCAR team trained me in 2024 in 3D-PAWS station fabrication and installation. It was a great experience and achievement for me. If required, I will gladly contribute to any 3D-PAWS-related training, fabrication, and installation.

I appreciate UCAR’s efforts in developing and introducing this great but efficient technology to countries for better ground observation and climate-related data collection.

My emails are fahimzaheer@ucsb.edu and fahimzaheer@gmail.com; please reach out for any support on the fields as mentioned earlier; I have gained experience in the past years.

Thank you!
